Dilatation Water Insulation

In building dilatations, the existing dilatation joint space is cleaned and a filler (XPS, ROCKWOOL, EPS) of appropriate diameter is placed inside. SBS (Styrene Butadine Styrene) modified bitumen-based Technobit dilatation joint tape omega is applied on it and adhered to the surface with a torch flame. Polyethylene wick/pipe in a size appropriate for the dilatation width is placed on it and the insulation is completed by covering it with a second layer of Technobit dilatation joint tape.
